Gallagher snaps up Texas MGA

Arthur J. Gallagher & Co. has introduced that Threat Placement Companies (RPS), its US wholesale brokerage, binding authority and packages division, has acquired Texas-based Tejas American Basic Company (TAGA). Phrases of the transaction weren’t disclosed.

Based in 1997, TAGA is a managing common company that provides business, farm and private insurance coverage merchandise to impartial brokers all through Texas.

As a part of the deal, TAGA leaders Bart Koch, Anita Herzog, Cindy Yorkovich, Richard Salley and their group will stay of their present location. They may report back to Kevin Doyle, vice chairman – Western Area and Chicago for RPS.
